Information Concerning ‘Recruiting Staff for the 2019 Hyojeong CheonBo 21-day Special Workshop for International Youth’
We pray that our Heavenly Parent and True Parents’ blessings and love will always be with you.
The ‘2019 Hyojeong CheonBo 21-day Special Workshop for International Youth ’ will be held
from June 28 to July 21, 2019. For this workshop, we would like to invite members to volunteer as staff. By volunteering as staff, You are able to experience the following.
- Cultivate global leadership.
- Experience leading 2nd generation from different cultures.
- Receive spiritual grace and attend the Chanyang Sessions.
- Receive a Hyojeong CheonBo 21-day workshop certificate.
- Make connections with 2nd generation from all over the world.
- Take part in creating the future of our Unification Movement.
- Participate in Holy Ground Pilgrimage in the Fatherland.
The staff workshop schedule and recruitment qualifications are as noted below. Please inform many members so that we can create a great workshop with abundant grace.
Please note that this official memo is intended for members living outside of Korea and Japan.
1. Staff Period
A. June 23 ~ July 21, 2019
B. All staff need to be in the HJ Heaven and Earth CheonBo Training Center by June 22 the latest and leave July 22 the earliest (the day after the workshop ends).

3. Qualifications and Roles
A. All staff need to understand the direction and policy of the Training Center and also be able to accurately convey that information to the trainees.
B. All staff should have completed a Hyojeong CheonBo 21 or 40-day workshop prior to this workshop. In the case you have not yet attended a Hyojeng CheonBo 21 or 40-day workshop, it is possible to apply for staff if you have completed similar training courses (ex. GPA graduates in their 1st year or 2nd year) or have experience of engaging in youth ministry.
C. All staff should have a proper standard of faith, and a healthy mind and body.
D. All staff should understand and fully agree with the honor code (Attachment 3).
E. All staff will be asked to actively take part in creating a fruitful workshop, report all trainees’ situation, convey direction and guidance of the Hyojeong CheonBo staff and leaders in the organization, participate in staff meetings, and meet any other needs that may be requested by the Training Center (Hyojeong CheonBo staff).

4. How to apply
Please send in the following attachments to the Hyojeong CheonBo International Office by e-mail before May 31, 2019.

C. National Leader’s recommendation (the application form from your respective headquarters)

A. All staff who participate in the full 21 day period will be considered to have attended a Hyojeong CheongBo 21-day Workshop.
B. The Training Center will cover the full 21-day registration fee of all staff except for International University Students Workshop team leaders. The University team leaders need to pay the general 21-day workshop fee (350,000 won) but other special expenses for this workshop will be covered by the Training Center. This is because University team leaders will have more time as a participant compared to other staffs.
C. The number of staff we recruit might change according to the number of participants.
D. Even if you are initially selected as a staff, if you cannot attend the Staff Preparation Workshop, you might be asked to step down. In such a case, you will have to pay the full expenses to attend the 21-day workshop.
E. All members coming from abroad need to apply for Medical Insurance for Traveling Abroad (Traveler’s Insurance) before attending a Hyojeong CheonBo workshop.
Please make sure with the company that it can be used in South Korea. Please note that even if you obtain traveler’s insurance, if you receive medical treatment at the hospital you will be asked to pay the hospital fee first and you will be reimbursed later, so you will need extra cash for emergency medical expenses.

F. Members must come to Korea with a visa which is valid throughout the whole stay.
The Training Center cannot acquire or extend visas for you. If your visa expires while you are in Korea, the immigration office will charge you a penalty and your name will likely be placed on a blacklist.
