The workshop schedule for June 2011 is as below.

2016 Cheongpyeong 40-day Special Workshops for International Young People

(The 205th Cheongpyeong 40-day Workshop)

The Cheongpyeong Training Center will be holding the 2016 Cheongpyeong 40-day (21-day) Workshop for International Young People, and we would like to welcome all youth around the world to join us and deeply feel the Shimjung (heart) of the Heavenly Parent and True Parents, and to become true owners of Cheon Il Guk.

 

1. Eligible Participants

July 1 (Fri) – August 9 (Tue)

40 Days is strongly recommended for university and high school students, but it is also possible to attend 21 days if circumstances do not allow 40 Days.

21 Days

July 1 (Fri) – July 21 (Thur)

21 Days is recommended for junior high school students, but if the trainee strongly wishes to attend the 40-day workshop, it is possible.

July 20 (Wed) – August 9 (Tue)

Yeosu Busan Pilgrimage

* There will be a Yeosu, Busan holy ground pilgrimage from July 19 to 21. If you attend the 21-day workshop from July 1 to 21, please purchase an air ticket departing on July 22 or later than that.

* If you attend the 21-day workshop from July 20 to August 9, please arrive at the training center no later than July 18, so that you can take part in the schedule of the Yeosu, Pusan holy ground pilgrimage.

* If you complete two 21-day workshops, you can receive a 40-day workshop certificate at the end of the second 21-day workshop.

 

3. Main Activities

 

Chanyang (holy song) sessions, full DP lectures, lectures on church history, HDH, DP Lecture contest, Holy Ground Pilgrimage (Cheon Jeong Gung, Pusan and Yeosu), sports, birthday party, dedication, yoga, activities to cultivate the heart, etc.

 

4. Hoondok Materials: 3-colored Exposition of the Divine Principle, As a Peace-Loving Global Citizen. (Please prepare these books before you come to Cheongpyeong.)

 

5. Materials to Prepare

 

1) FM Radio

 

2) Toiletries, underwear, and socks

 

3) White t-shirts, thin pants that will not generate dust during Chanyang Yeoksa sessions

 

4) Comfortable shoes and a shoe bag

 

5) A set of dress clothes for special occasions (ex.), Ahn Shi Il )

 

6) Umbrella or rain gear

 

7) Personal medication, medical insurance for traveling abroad, etc.

※Trainees will wear white t-shirts throughout the entire workshop.

6. Workshop Registration

 

1) For us to prepare well and make it a more effective and fruitful workshop, it is essential for us to know who will be coming.

 

2) To register, please visit the Cheongpyeong website, / and follow the instructions.

The registration period is June 1 ~ June 25, 2016.

 

3) If you have any problems with registration, or were not able to register your child within the registration period, please send an email to cpintl2013@gmail.com .

 

7. Workshop Expenses

 

1) Registration Fee: 40 days: 900,000won / 21 days: 570,000won

 

2) Emergency medical expenses and other necessary expenses (Please refer to the Honor Code, attachment file)

 

3) The registration fee should be brought by the participant, and turned in at the time of registration in Cheongpyeong. If you think it will be a problem for your child to bring the registration fee, please contact us at cpintl2013@gmail.com.

 

4) We accept checks, cash, and traveler’s checks.

- Checks should be made out to HSA UWC CSC and $8 needs to be added for a processing fee. If the check is over $1000 (workshop expenses for 2 people), a $10 fee needs to be added. Traveler’s checks are the same as cash.

 

5). Other expenses

 

1) Laundry: washer / dryer 1,000 won each time, liquid detergent 1,500 won

 

2) Holy Ground Pilgrimage (August 10 afternoon, optional): 30,000 won

 

C. 10% of the workshop fee will be discounted if two or more siblings in middle school or high school register for a 40-day workshop together. (830,000won per person)

 

1) When you and your sibling register within one week, the discount will be applied

 

2) This does not apply to other relatives.

 

3) There is no discount benefit for the participant of the student 21-day workshop. (Discount benefit will be cancelled if you change your workshop from 40 days to 21 days.)

 

4) If either sibling withdraws from the participation in the workshop after receiving the discount benefit, the reaming person has to pay the discounted amount to the office.

 

8. There will be a Sunghwa Music Festival on August 5th. If you have any musical talents (singing, dancing, instruments) and you would like to participate, please let us know in advance. cpintl2013@gmail.com

 

9. Important points to keep in mind

 

1) The 40-day workshop schedule will end around noontime of the last day.

 

2) If you come before the start of the official workshop, you need to pay the registration fee of 18,000 won per day.

 

3) Members must start the 40-day (21-day) Workshop within 7 days from the official workshop starting date. If they arrive late they must extend their participation in the workshop by the number of days they are late.

 

4) Members who are psychologically, spiritually or behaviorally challenged must first consult with Mr. In Pyo Moon (+82-31-589-7136). If permission is granted, he or she may register only if accompanied by a caregiver. (Please keep in mind that if permission is not granted, or if a caregiver does not come, such an individual may be asked to return home.)

 

5) Even if you complete the workshop, if your attitude during participation does not meet the workshop standards, you may not be able to receive the graduation certificate. In this case, you can receive the certificate after participating satisfactorily in any other 40-day or 21-day workshop.

 

6) If you do not follow the workshop standards consistently, you may be asked to return home.

 

7) All members coming from abroad need to apply for Medical Insurance for Traveling Abroad (Traveler’s Insurance) before attending a Cheongpyeong workshop. Please make sure with the insurance company that it can be used in South Korea. Please note that even if you obtain traveler’s insurance, if you receive medical treatment at the hospital you will be asked to pay the hospital fee first and you will be reimbursed later, so you will need extra cash for emergency medical expenses.

 

8) Members must come to Korea with a VISA which is valid throughout the whole stay. The Training Center cannot acquire or extend visas for you. If your visa expires while you are in Korea, the immigration office will charge you a penalty and your name will likely be placed on a blacklist.
