True Parents has emphasized the importance of 2nd generation members’ participation in the 40-day Workshop before the blessing.

We would like to have staff members for the 136th Cheongpyeong 40-day Workshop for International 2nd Generation (July 8 ~ August 16, 2009).

Please inform other members so that we can have many staff to create a great workshop.

1. Staff Briefing Period:  July 4 (Sat) – July 7 (Tue), 2009

*Please arrive in Cheongpyeong by 7 pm on July 4 (Sat).

*Staff will be briefed about the workshop and its direction, as well as getting prepared for the workshop.

2.  Workshop Period:

2009 Cheongpyeong 40-day Special Workshop for International Blessed Children

 July 8 ~ August 16, 2009

3. Staff (General Staff & Parental Figure Staff)

General Staff:

1) Age: High school graduates (2nd Gen. preferred)

 

2) Experience: Those who have participated in a Cheongpyeong 40-day Workshop

 

3) Expected Roles as General Staff

 

*Prepare for the 40-day workshop beforehand by participating in the staff member’s educational workshop held from July 4th (Sat) – July 7th (Tue).

 

*As staff, one must be able to not only understand the direction and policy of the Training Center, but also be able to mediate it to the trainees.

 

*Assist in running the workshop.

 

*Being in a different country and culture, staff must be able to help the trainees adjust to the workshop by encouraging them in many ways.

 

*Report trainees’ situation to leaders.

 

*Participation in staff meetings

Parental Figure Staff

 

1) Experience:  Participated in a Cheongpyeong 40-day Workshop and had some experience in taking care of 2nd Generations.

 

2) Expected Roles as Parental Figure Staff:

 

*Prepare for the 40-day workshop beforehand by participating in the staff member’s educational workshop held from July 4th (Sat) – July 7th (Tue).

 

*As staff, one must be able to not only understand the direction and policy of the Training Center, but also be able to mediate it to the trainees.

 

*Assist in running the workshop.

 

*Participation in staff meetings

 

*Trainees’ health care and emotional care

6. Traveler’s Insurance

Members coming to Korea from abroad must be sure to purchase traveler’s insurance (AXA, BUPA, CIGNA, Blue Cross and Blue Shield).

Before you make insurance, please consult with the Insurance Company if it can be used in South Korea.

7. Members coming to Korea from abroad must obtain a 90-day visa, before coming to the workshop. The Training Center cannot acquire or extend visas for you. If your visa expires while you are in Korea, the immigration office will charge you a penalty of $100.US per day and you will be placed on a black list.
