The workshop schedule for August 2005 is as below. Ancestor liberation ceremonies for generations 106-112 and ancestor blessing ceremonies for generations 99-105 ( 1~105 ) began in July 2005 and will be held for a 5-month period through November 2005. Members living in Korea or Japan can liberate generations 106-112 during any of the liberation ceremonies held during this time period. These members can liberate any of the missing groups during the “additional” ancestor liberation ceremony. Members living in all other countries can liberate all possible sets of ancestors at any of the 2-day workshops held throughout the year. Please make a 21-day condition of devotion (breakfast fast or 50 bows) before coming to participate in the ancestor liberation ceremony.

Starting from February 2005, there will be no workshop on the first weekend of each month. A weekday workshop will be held only on the first Wednesday of each month (once a month).

•  Please remember that there is also a workshop fee of 2,000 won for toddlers and infants (effective as of April 2003).

•  Please prepare the appropriate collateral relative liberation donation to liberate any second or third generation, blessed or unblessed, who has passed away. (Although there is no difference in the liberation of second generation, third generation or unblessed first generation members, it is difficult to liberate second and third generation simply through a donation of gratitude because the condition is insufficient. Also, more devotion needs to be offered to allow second and third generation to grow and mature in the spirit world.)

•  Please contact your local church leader and make a reservation via fax (82-31-584-4336) or email (cpwe_office@cheongshim.com) if you would like to attend a workshop.

2. Ancestor Blessing Ceremony (Generations 1 -105) Schedule Information

Ancestor blessing ceremonies for generations 99-105 (1-105) will begin in July 2005 and will be held once a month for a 5-month period through November 2005. Generations 1~105 are eligible to receive the blessing after 100 days have passed from the day they were liberated and the full liberation donations were offered. They can be blessed when their descendants attend an ancestor blessing ceremony, held on the third weekend of every month. (Schedule subject to change.)

Starting from July 2002, ancestors who have become absolute good spirits through the blessing come to separate spirits from their descendants during the holy song session of the ancestor liberation ceremonies. (Angels work with members who have not blessed their ancestors.)

1)Schedule :

8 / 20 (Sat) 6 p.m. - 21 (Sun), 2005

2)Eligible Participants:

•  Members for whom 100 days has passed since generations 1~7 on the father's and mother's sides were liberated and the full liberation donations* were offered.

•  Members for whom 100 days has passed since generations 8~105 on the father's and mother's sides were liberated and the full liberation donations* were offered.

3)Materials to Prepare:

Holy robes (and white gloves and white socks), blessing ring (you may use your own)

*Blessing donation of gratitude

4)Points to Consider:

•  If you plan to liberate ancestors during a 2-day workshop when an ancestor blessing ceremony will be held, you must register by 6 p.m. that Saturday in order to participate in the ancestor liberation ceremony.

•  As much as possible, the individual who liberated a particular seven-generation set of ancestors should also participate in the ancestor blessing ceremony to bless those generations

*The donation amounts for blessing ancestors are set according to national group (as of August 2003). The blessing donation for generations 1~7 is offered once for the father's side and includes all four lineages (father's, mother's, father's grandmother's, and mother's grandmother's sides). However, if blessing the four lineages at separate times, a blessing donation of gratitude (same amount offered for generations 8 and above) is made each time you register. It is possible to offer the blessing donation in parts and to begin blessing generations 8 and above before it is completed.

T he blessing donation of gratitude for generations 8 and above is offered per group of seven generations. It includes all four lineages (father's, mother's, father's grandmother's, and mother's grandmother's sides) if blessing them all at once and is offered again each time you register to bless lineages in a particular generation group.
