Spirit World and Physical World Blessing Ceremony

• The Spirit World and Physical World Blessing Ceremony for year 2009 will be held during the Cheongpyeong 2-day Workshop (April 18-19).

• Please note that this official memo is intended for members living outside of Korea and Japan.

1. 2009 Spirit World and Physical World Blessing Ceremony

1) Date: April 18 (Sat) 7 p.m. – 19 (Sun), 2009

2) Eligible Participants:

1. Members who participated in the Spirit World and Physical World Matching Workshop held in Cheongpyeong last year or in the past.
2. Members who, after participating in a Spirit World and Physical World Matching Workshop, have yet to participate in the Spirit World and Physical World Blessing Ceremony.

3) Materials to Prepare:

- Two sets of Holy Robes (bring white gloves and white socks), two blessing rings, donation of gratitude, FM Radio
- Same materials that you have to prepare for a Cheongpyeong 2-day Workshop (Registration Fee and etc.)

4) Blessing Funds: This is according to your national groups

5) Points to Consider

1. If circumstances prevents for the person to receive the blessing from participating in the ceremony, a representative (child of direct descendant, spiritual parent, church leader) can attend on his or her behalf.
2. Additional registration fee for the representative(25,000won) will be required.
3. It is possible to attend both the Ancestor Blessing Ceremony and the Spirit World and Physical World Blessing Ceremony.

2. Members coming to Korea from abroad must be sure to purchase traveler’s insurance (AXA, BUPA, CIGNA, Blue Cross and Blue Shield). Before you make insurance, please consult with the Insurance Company if it can be used in South Korea.
