• Under the grace of God and True Parents, the ‘Blessing Ceremony for the Spirits of Ascended Blessed Children, and the Blessing Ceremony for the Spirits of Unmarried 1st Generation Members’ will be held in the Cheongpyeong Heaven and Earth Training Center. Those members who meet the qualifications stated below, please be sure to attend this ceremony.

• On the “Day of Victory of Love,” January 2, 2003, True Parents extended the following special grace: “As you do ancestor liberation on your Father’s side, if you had instances wherein you liberated unmarried first generation individuals among your siblings (or your own direct children), or unmarried collaterals, then you must hold the Blessing Ceremony separately for these Unmarried Spirits.” In accordance with their words, the Cheongpyeong Heaven and Earth Training Center, under the guidance of Heung Jin Nim and Dae Mo Nim, plans to hold such a Blessing Ceremony for these Unmarried Spirits. The official schedule for the ceremony has been decided, and is outlined below. Those members who have done liberations, please be sure to attend this ceremony.

Blessing Ceremony for the Spirits of Ascended Blessed Children, and
the Blessing Ceremony for the Spirits of Unmarried 1st Generation Members

- Date: June 21st (Sun), 2009

*Held at the same time as the Ancestor Blessing Ceremony on June 21, during the 2-day Workshop of the 3rd week in June.

 

- Place: Cheongpyeong Heaven and Earth Training Center

1. Blessing Ceremony for the Spirits of Ascended Blessed Children

 

1)  Eligible participants:

    Parents of ascended 2nd or 3rd Generation children who already received the matching, and have already been contacted by the Training Center, about their matching situation.

    (It is possible for only one of the parents to come and attend)

 

2)  Candidates for Matching:

The Spirits of children 16 years old and above, according to the earthly age. (The spirits of ascended 2nd and 3rd generation children whose birthday comes before March 31, 1993, and whose date of liberation through a collateral liberation (special liberation) was prior to March 31, 2007)

 

3)  Registration Time: Participants must register by 7 pm on June 19 (Fri), 2009.

 

4)  Matching Ceremony Date: June 20 (Sat), 2009, 10 am, in the small hall of the Cheongpyeong Heaven and Earth Training Center

 

5)  Materials to Prepare:

    

a) 2 sets of Holy Robes

        - Holy Robes for the Parents and an adult size Holy Robe for the spirit

    

b) Holy Ring (Parents’ holy ring can be used)

        - If you would like to buy this at the Training Center, Holy Rings can be bought at the store when you arrive in Cheongpyeong.

    

c) Special blessing donation (see further information below)

 

6)  Please note:

    

a) Those who attend must register for the 2-day Workshop.

    

b) From 10 am, on June 20, there will be a preliminary education session as well as the Matching Ceremony.

2.  Blessing Ceremony for the Spirits of Unmarried 1st Generation Members

 

1) Eligible Participants:

    

Among those who liberated 1st generation spirits, those individuals who liberated unmarried spirits (through a collateral liberation)

 

2) Candidates for Matching: (Changed Information)

    

The deceased unmarried spirit whose birthday comes before June 21, 1993, and whose date of liberation through a collateral liberation (special liberation) was prior to February 28, 2009.

 

Attention: Members who liberated generations 1 to 7 on the Father’s side by January, 2003, could liberate unmarried brothers and sisters, and non-blessed children who passed away, by writing their names and their relationship with them on the registration form. (At that time a donation amount had not been decided, and each member merely offered a donation of gratitude at the Jeongshim Won)

    

If you want to now apply for the blessing of such a spirit, you must offer the full amount of the Collateral Liberation donation for each spirit. It must be given at the time of registration unless you have already offered it in the past.

   

 If a spirit did not have a name, or if you do not know the name, please register after preparing a suitable name for the spirit.

 

3)  Registration Time: Participants must register for the 2-day workshop by 7 pm on June 20 (Sat).

 

4)  Materials to Prepare:  

   

 a) Holy Ring and Holy Robe for the individual

        - A Holy Ring and Holy Robe for the spirit are not required

   

 b) Special Blessing Donation

        - The donation standard for each spirit depends on their nationality.

        - Please check the Group Standard for the group of that spirit.

 

5)  Please note:

    

a) Even though you liberated unmarried spirits, but did not complete the liberation donation for generations 1-7 on the Father’s side, you can still participate in the Blessing          Ceremony for the Spirits of Unmarried 1st Generation Members.

    

b) You must offer the Collateral Liberation donation for unmarried spirits according to their Group Standards at the time of registration for the blessing, if it was not offered previously.

    

c) If, for any reason, the person who liberated the spirit cannot come to Cheongpyeong, a representative, family member or relative, can attend. If there are no family members or relatives (18 years or over), then the spiritual parent or church leader may attend as a representative. If you can not participate even with a representative, then please attend the next  Blessing Ceremony for the Spirits of Unmarried 1st Generation Members.

        

A representative can only represent one person.

        

(The next Blessing Ceremony for the Spirits of Unmarried 1st Generation Members will not be held for at least one year.)

    

d) If you are not sure of their age at the time of their passing, please be sure that they have reached the standard age before you attend the ceremony.

4. How to order Holy Robes

Please send a fax to the store of the Training Center (Fax # +82-31-585-2897), complete with the following information. The price of a Holy Robe is 150,000 won.

(You can send the fax at lease one week prior to the start of workshop.)

 

1)  Name, blessing group, and country of the person ordering the Holy Robe.

 

2)  Height (and also bust measurement for sisters), in centimeters, of the person for whom the Holy Robe will be made.

 

3)  Date you intend to pick up the Holy Robe.

5. Pre-registration Form Must be Submitted No Later Than June 15th, 2009 (Updated June 3, 2009)

1) Those members who would like to participate in the “Blessing Ceremony for the Spirits of Unmarried 1st Generation Members” can participate in the Blessing Ceremony after submission of the “Pre-registration Form (Attachment File)” by email or fax.(If you send the form by fax, please make a follow-up call to confirm).

2) The Pre-registration Form should arrive no later than June 15th, 2009
