1st International 40-Day Spirituality Workshop
for English-Speaking Participants
May the grace of our Heavenly Parent and the True Parents of Heaven, Earth, and Humankind always be with you.
On October 11, 2020, during the Victory Celebration of the 8th Anniversary of the Universal Seonghwa of Sun Myung Moon, True Parents of Heaven, Earth, and Humankind, True Mother gave us following words:
"CSW(CheonShimWon) must raise leaders who can become future successors—leaders who can understand the heart of True Mother. It must become a protective fence that establishes three generations. Leaders who are not pure or virtuous must never be allowed to stand at the forefront. CSW is a place of education that removes blemishes and flaws through sincere devotion. We must now live in accordance with the Cheon Il Guk era. CSW must call and raise children whom Heaven considers pure. Just as Tibetan Buddhism trains young Dalai Lamas, we must nurture spiritually bright children from a young age. CSW must raise them to remain clear and pure. As we move forward with the system of priesthood, CSW must raise leaders who can hear Heaven's voice and convey Heaven’s heart. No one can misuse this mission. The spiritual and physical worlds must advance in complete unity."
Further, on October 31, 2024, during a special gathering at the 12th Hyojeong Cheonshim Cheonbo 40-Day Spirituality Workshop, True Mother gave the following guidance to young participants:
"You young people undergoing spiritual training must unite with the spirit world and remove all internal obstacles that could hinder the completion of Cheon Il Guk. You already know what needs to be resolved. Through the devotion offered at CSW, you must create a foundation for the spirit world to work through you."
In alignment with these precious words, we are pleased to announce the HYOJEONG CHEONSHIM CHEONBO 1st International 40-Day Spirituality Workshop for English-Speaking participants, designed to raise future leaders who embody purity, sincerity, and oneness with the hearts of Heavenly Parent and True Parents. We sincerely invite your interest and participation in this providential initiative.
1. Workshop Schedule: August 26 (Tue) – October 5 (Sun), 2025
• 21-Day Spirituality Workshop with Heavenly Europe & Middle East
+ 21-Day General Workshop (International 40-Day Workshop)
By combining these two consecutive 21-day workshops, participants will experience a full 40-day period of spiritual renewal and transformation.
2. Main Programs: Programs are subject to change.
Vigil Prayers, Chambumo-ron, Epic History of Korea, Chanyang Yeoksa, Discussion & Sharings, TP life course, Special Great Works, Pilgrimage, etc.
3. Qualifications
• Speaking English Fluently: Most program will be conveyed in English and generally no translation will be prepared, therefore understanding and being fluent in English is mandatory.
• Age limit: 18 to 50 years old
• Physical and mental condition: who can follow the workshop schedule on their own, being phycisally fit. (any particular disease or condition requiring attention should be mentioned before finalizing registration)
4. Registration Deadline and Fee:
• Each branch is kindly requested to collect and submit the list of participants to the registration office by August 22 (Thu), 2025. *On-site registration at the Cheonbo Training Center will be available until 6:00 PM on the 28th (Korean time).
• 40-Day Spirituality Workshop Fee: 700,000 won
* 10% of the workshop fee will be discounted for families (direct family, spouse, and siblings) who register for a 40-day workshop together: 630,000 won per person
* Workshop fees will be collected upon arrival at the Cheonbo Training Center reception desk. NO CARD, Only Cash!
5. Things to Prepare:
A. Hoondok Materials: Exposition of the Divine Principle (3 color version), True Mother’s memoir, ChamBumo Gyeong (you can purchase an abridged version of the ChamBumo Gyeong for 7,000 won at the international office.)
B. Clothes and attire: white t-shirts (three or more), lint-free, or dust-resistant, pants (for chanyang sessions), comfortable shoes (for Holy Ground prayer, outdoor activities and dedication), Holy Robe and Blessing ring (for those who will participate in the Ancestor Blessing Ceremony), a set of formal clothing, such as suit, dress, etc. (for Cheon Jeong Gung pilgrimage, Sunday service, graduation ceremony, etc.)
C. Personal belongings: FM radio, shoe bag, umbrella, toiletries, personal towel, personal medications, personal cup, medical insurance (see below for details)
6. Points to consider:
✓ While the spiritual 40 days will be happening, the general 40 days will still be ongoing as well. However, you can’t change your registration from general 40 days to spirituality 40 days once the workshop starts.
✓ It is possible to join the spirituality 40 days up to 3 days after the workshop starts(if the reason for being late is independent of your will: flight ticket delayed, late visa insuance, etc)
✓ Medical Insurance for Traveling Abroad (Traveler’s Insurance): Even if you obtain a traveler’s insurance, you will be asked to pay the hospital fee first, and then be reimbursed later. Please prepare extra cash for emergency medical expenses.
✓ Visa: Members coming to Korea from abroad who are unable to receive a visa waiver must obtain a 90-day visa before coming to the workshop. The Training Center cannot acquire or extend visas on your behalf. If you need to obtain a visa please contact
